About me...
Eleisha Foon is a journalist, communications strategist, author and filmmaker born and raised in Wellington, New Zealand, with Fijian, Indian, English and Chinese heritage. She is a truth-seeker and storyteller whose work is anchored in integrity, courage and faith.
Across every platform, her mission is clear: to illuminate stories that matter, challenge perspectives and offer hope.​

With more than a decade of experience in broadcast journalism, Eleisha has reported on major global events, including award-winning coverage of the Christchurch mosque attacks and international reporting from the Middle East with Al Jazeera English. She began her career in television before expanding into a multi-platform role with New Zealand’s public broadcaster, Radio New Zealand (RNZ), and later transitioned into international reporting with RNZ Pacific, where she centred indigenous voices and stories from Pacific Island nations.
Her work sits at the intersection of culture, geo-politics, entertainment, current events. Whether behind a microphone, on camera, or on stage,
Eleisha is committed to elevating marginalised voices and fostering conversations that change hearts and minds.
