“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
- Mahatma Ghandi
About me...

I grew up in Wellington, New Zealand in the same town that produced one of my greatest inspirations, legendary musician Brooke Fraser (Ligertwood).
My background is diverse - a mix of Fijian, Indian, British, Chinese heritage.
I am a truth-seeker and story-teller.
My life is anchored by strong values, faith and ethics with a mission to inspire,
uplift and share people's stories.
I have 8 years of broadcast journalism experience including award-winning coverage during the Christchurch mosque attacks and worked as a journalist in
the middle east with world-renowned television network Al Jazeera English.

Journalism allows me to shine a light on important issues, helping to provide a platform and elevate the voices of marginalised groups around the world.

I began my career in television before moving to a multi-platform role with a focus on radio with New Zealand's public broadcaster Radio New Zealand (RNZ).
I then transitioned to covering international stories with RNZ Pacific, focusing on Pacific island nations with a focus on telling indigenous stories.

Outside of journalism, I love to host and MC events, including weddings - I am a celebrant and would be honoured to officiate your special day.
